Style and presentation for Midterm Reports
Due Friday, April 12
Must be submitted to the blog by 10pm
A) Front matter:
- Title of your report
- Your name
- The date of your report
- Abstract or executive summary
- Table of contents for your report

B) Report body:
- Use headings and subheadings to divide report

++* heading that appears bolded, but not in the table of contents
- Final section should be Works Cited in APA format (see below)
- Tip: Skip a line between each section
- **Tip: Leave a space after the plus sign or asterisk or it won't make the heading/bullet
C) Back matter:
- provide appendices with any relevant material to accompany your report
- full interview transcripts or lists of interview questions
- surveys distributed
- copies of relevant textual documents for the reader's reference
Citation format for Works Cited
- Obviously, you should provide citations for the published scholars you reference in your report (Swales, Mirabelli, etc.)
- You should also cite any materials you use as data, including
- websites
- forum or blog posts from other sites
- private correspondence
- newsletters or other periodicals used as data
